Templates give you a tested set of questions to start from, so you are editing instead of staring at a blank survey. There are 34 of them, grouped into seven categories.
Open the gallery
From the Surveys App Home, click Create a survey, then Browse templates at the top of the Create Survey modal. Search by name or keyword, scan the Popular set, or browse by category. You can also reuse one of your own recent surveys from the same place.
Pick one and edit
Click Use on a template and the Create Survey modal fills in with its title, description, and questions. Everything is editable: change the wording, add or remove questions, switch question types. Nothing sends until you finish the Share Survey step yourself.
What templates set up for you
Some templates come with sensible defaults already in place:
- Anonymous templates, like Exit Interview or Manager Evaluation, arrive with anonymity on, since the answers are more honest that way.
- Recurring templates, like Async Standup or Weekly Team Check-in, suggest a cadence on the Share Survey step.
- A few coordination templates turn on result sharing so the team sees the outcome.
All of these are suggestions you can change before sending.
